This one?
I had it drawn up and 3D printed by the chap at the below link a few years ago. Give him a call as he was into laser cutting etc so may be able to sort you out with everything you need.

Thanks Harv!!
Your info has helped me many a time! Love your work!!
That was some interesting reading. It would appear the earlier shafts had larger ID of shaft bore as there was no seals on the oil connector between the two shafts. The mentioned overflow pipe is new to me. Haven't seen one of those in the few engines I have worked on or seen.

Here's a question for you all. What was the change made to the shafts from FJ engine 197344. Looks like there was a front and rear before eng 197344 then it moves to a single part number instead of both front and rear part numbers.
Cheers

SA club annual show and shine was held Saturday. You spied one of member cars on their way to or from our Semaphore meet. Pics can be found on our SA club Facebook page. 14 cars attended on the day.
7  Technical Board / General Technical / Re: Notchy rear wheel bearings on: December 03, 2017, 07:56:06 AM
Sounds like your only option now is to remove the axles. Did you rotate the bearings by hand on the axles after you pressed them on? Is it a standard diff (sealed bearings with oil seal inboard side)?

Thinking outside the square you mentioned NOS axles. If bearings mounting diameters on shaft are a little on large side it can reduce clearances in bearings and present problems. A notchy feel happens as the bearing balls end up with small flats on them.

Are you certain it is the wheel bearings and not the diff you can hear when rotating the wheels?
If it is the bearings they won't settle in unfortunately.

This is their website

We had one of the lads turn up at an SA club meeting recently and ask for a volunteer to donate some time with their FC rear window so they could update their jig. Stewy took his sedan down.

I think it inspired the HSV Maloo. Or was inspired by.

Yeah cant harm to try. My original pictured looked like it had been painted previously and didn't look like it would respond well. If you do go down the path of new, they look fantastic and exactly like the old one.

You could go the new option ( rare spares) like I did or maybe use the model paints you get a hobby stores ( small pots of enamel).
Geoff at Olden1 restores these and after speaking to him went down the new path. I believe he is the supplier to rares for the new items. He informed me that any cracking in the resin would wick in the new paint leaving mixed results. I decided not to bother attempting but put new one on the Christmas list.

14  Technical Board / General Technical / Re: Engine stumble when revving from idle on: April 08, 2017, 03:44:46 PM
Errol is onto it. Throttle is open. The butterfly inside the body is on the same plane as the flats shown on the end of the shaft. If the assembly on the other end that controls the plunger is incorrect it could maybe prevent the throttle from returning to the idle position (just cracked open).

I was about to write something then i realised Harv was all over it👍. Carby kit is about $35 fuelmiser is the brand. Cheaper at local parts store than ebay. If you can gap some points you'll have no problems putting the plunger in.

Rare spares does them Ray. They have full kits listed on ebay and part kits on their site. Pete also does better quality bits for the rear divider under tail light. http://forum.fefcholden.club/index.php?topic=23013.0

Well after nearly a year of not having a chance to do the paint job myself I decided to get someone else to do them.Just picked up my newly painted wheels from Joe at Adelaide wheel & rim works on Sth Rd. They are so good I don't know whether to put them on the wagon or on the mantle piece. I'm gobsmacked on what he did with them. All original colour scheme as researched from this forum and as found on the rim when blasted (thanks Ken). $140 a rim but I had supplied blasted and tyreless but with almost 60yrs of abuse. Wife's birthday today so will be fitted tomorrow if I'm to keep the peace.

That is a ripper shot.
One that will be pulled out when you're Grandpa's age.
Keep the pic's rolling

Nice pic's.
Now I understand why people watch clips of things being unboxed on youtube. The unearthing (literally) of you FE is very satisfying to watch.
Good luck with getting her back on the rd.
Please don't let her become a unfinished project statistic.
See you on Sunday at the show and shine.
