Hey Scott, How about a few photos on how the FE wagon's coming along? ? I ended up using the money on my 1st house and buying an engagement ring - Young and dumb, what I would'nt do to get hold of that car again!!!!! I wish she could have put up with having a bonnet emblem for a ring that way I could have had them both!!! Anyway hope it is bringing you joy and not too many headaches. Cheers

Technical Board / General Technical / Re: "Stage x" heads?
|
on: November 20, 2004, 01:33:44 AM
|
Hi, it all relates to the extent of work done to the head- its similar to the way they rate stage 1,2,3 etc... cams, stage 1 is almost stock, stage 2 is getting warmer, stage 3 is hot street etc... So a stage 1 head may have larger valves and double springs, stage 2 could be stage 1 plus port and polish, whilst stage 3 could be 1+2 plus shaved etcc...

It could be a faulty solenoid, being that they are fully electronic, i have also heard of them having problems with the memcal, holden have a memcal out that fixes certain faults, like locking in limp mode etc... Ring Barry Stace Automatics in Newcastle NSW, they helped me out alot when i had mine, (02) 622900
