Well tried to sell on evilbay had to many time wasters if you know of anyone after a good solid 57 FE I am will to let it go for $14,000.00 wife say's it has to go as we will not be using anymore due to the van and travels so it would be a shame to leave it on the shed. Quite will to deliver for a fee as long as payment has been made in full prior. email if interested for photos.

3  For Sale and Wanted / Cars For Sale / Re: FE Sedan For Sale on Ebay on: September 26, 2013, 07:40:16 PM
Aaaarrrgh! Gary, I was hoping you might have off-loaded the car a lot further down the track, precisely when I could be in a position to buy it back.
Having previously owned the car I can give it good recommendation, the fact I wish I could get it back should be pretty good testament.

All the best,  Luke.

Yeh sorry Luke I would not want to put you through that pain. I thought I would have used her more but have not she has just sat in the shed and well, we have brought a caravan and have already been away for 11 weeks soon after I got her and we plan to be away alloy next year in fact setting off on Aussie Day so it would be a waste, to leave her in the shed doing nothing and paying rego etc. We just came back from a run over to Cootamundra, Temora area last weekend with our car club and she goes as you know really well. I have done a few things to her as you can see by the photos the only thing I would do if I kept her would be to recover the front seat and door cards but, I did respring the front seat and sourced the bottom trim from rare spares as well and had them painted up. She is looking real good and whenever she goes out always gets the look.

If you are getting all of that for $1100 that's a good deal so I would not disregard them. I only went with all car as I found there add on ebay they do the boot mat as well for all three would be $1200 and that's without flaps.

Looks the part alright. I'm about to order the same so comparing with several outlets. Any views on ALLCARCARPETS vs OBSOLETE RUBBER MATS appreciated - I can't get to the outlets to view the actual products. The cost differs but that isn't always the deciding factor. Both look good in the photos but are they similar compositions & fit? Not sure also about the underlay. Any advice? Dave.

Hey DJ I don't know about obsolete rubber mats but these are quality I only had to punch a couple of holes for the front seat and seat belts and they were fitted. The worst thing is the time frame 10/12 weeks from placing the order. Then I suppose it comes down to cost front and rear $800+ 30 postage from memory. Anyway I am wrapped. The underlay I just used the old underlay that was in the car as it was A OK.

David, what a shame you could not make it, as it get's bigger every year we had some members with their XU1's from Sydney come down and the Austin 7 club also joined us as well, we fill the whole carpark fronting the beach. Yep that sounds like the car Luke the previous owner told me it came from Canberra and previously from Melbourne thats about as much as I know.
