the welds are good but i'm thinking more along the lines of torsion.........bolts must've been there for some form of swivel ..............then again fjs and 48s cracked firewalls for the opposite reason me thinks

as i am not out to do a full on perfect resto on my fe ........and since a previous owner already has.........is it regowise ok to leave the inner frame arms simply welded (very solidly and neatly)to the floor channel?

i'm thinking of using flat steel plates to refloor my fc........the repro ones are crap......any thoughts.......i'd weld them to channels etc
