Time for a new project..

For sale 58 fc sedan india ivory over burgendy 138 grey runs beautifuly no smoke no knocks new clutch kit uni joints tie rod ends king pins engine mounts master cylinders brake shoes drums machined new 2 inch
exhaust system seven inch rims with radials right round original seats in exellent condition + new boot emblem and carpet front and rear...And new front springs + shocks right around.
spare head sump side plate rear springs and drums + chrome bits.  
this car originally from dubbo area a very good rust free car 12 months rego   $8000 ono

I gave the old grey an oil change castrol 25 x 60 for older engines seeing there is no oil filter how often should you change it "sorry if i sound a bit naive but this is my first grey."

Any ideas on getting a bit more punch out of the old grey.
Its a good old thing no smoke plenty compression ect.
I dont really want to go the expence of a red motor conv. If i can get a bit more stick out of the old girl i will be happy...?

g'day to all......I know I dont have to fit seat belts to the old girl for rego but I think it would be a good idea "its not 1958 out there anymore."So any ideas on what i should fit them out of. I am thinking early commodore.

I think my fc has a 138 motor the engine number begins with a b were all of these engines 138s.

My wipers are not working real well any ideas on boosting up the old vaccum setup or go electric setup if so will a wiper motor of say an fb-ek ej-eh fit an fc

Thanks for the feedback guys "Problem solved" I took one of my original wheels, which is painted dominion maroon down to the paint mob. and they matched  it beautifully so I got three litres, two for the car and one for spare...

Thanks for the picture ret. etna maroon is not quite what im looking for i thought it was a bit darker than that..I think the colour trev is talking about is dominion maroon that is the colour im looking for but  nobody has the formula for it anymore i have tried a few paint shops. I dident have any trouble getting the india ivory mixed, strange how the maroon is not available.

I picked up a couple spare fc blinker surounds how would i go about getting them re chromed I heard they are can be a bit hit and miss when re chroming cast bits and peices..

Thanks rusty thats the roof and front end done "lots of work to this stage" the doors will need a bit more prep. before they get some paint." I want to keep the colors original but I am having trouble getting dominion maroon mixed up for the flash through its looks like i might have to go with something else im thinking etna maroon.
