G'day all . I've come to the conclusion that I will not get to do this vehicle for a long time as in a line up of others .. FC Panel I bought a few years back . Needs all outriggers underneath doing . Sills have one outer to go with it . some floor pan action have a set of new ones ,roof and sides seem good , front frame in good nic with only a little rust .Hr front end , set of Torana disc brake and spindles to suit front end .. I bought it as a complete car running . Has a good 186 with it gear box is some auto that's shagged .. I also have spare set of guards , set of front doors, and bonnet to go with it .. I have the car on a rotisserie at the moment so it be a pick your to get it , rotisserie does not come with sale .. This car owes about 5k when I got it home and about 1k in the other parts I have .. As we know Vans are getting hard to get so to me 6k seem's fair .. Cheers Fred 0428434850 Will have some soon pics up soon ..

That sounds great Jim .. Don't worry about the pics mate I'll take your word for it .. Don't rush yourself , when you get a chance to cut them out that would be great .. You work out what your times worth and what they are worth to you and let me know mate .. I have some friends down in Newie they might be heading up this way in a couple of weeks so may be able to pick them up off you , if not will work out a way to get them up here to Coffs harbour , should be a problem Cheers Fred

Me again .. Has anyone had the pleasure of having to reconstruct these sections , such a work of art they are mine are going to have to be replaced which doesn't faze me to much just wanting to get others opinions if they have done this before .. Would I be be better to find someone wrecking a vehicle and have them cut out and near ready to go ? Cheers Fred.

Cool mate , no windows only way to go .. Plan on cutting all the rust and replacing with new steel , have a HR front end have done the out rigger , have a set of old school spindles for Torana discs which I have set of now . Will be doing the old girl in a flat brown or something a bit ratty .. can always paint it properly later ..As for the donk it came with a really good running 186 but i'm in the thinking of a diesel turbo 4 , don't shoot everyone Modern technology seems to be the way to go now days , some of these turbo 4s crack and are so much better on fuel consumption as well. Anyway we'll see what happens ..

Wow , that's pretty wild the way they constructed cars back then , Cheers for the pics Ken .. Not a bad idea fink man . Have a mate who owns a Rod shop up this way , might have a yarn to him about that idea and see whether it's possible to knock something up ..

Great Stuff Clay and Ken .. Good info all round will help no end in the reconstruction of the Pano .. Moving it and my Xk Pano to my house from the farm this weekend so then I can get stuck into it in between everything else I have to do That seam had me rattled for a bit there as my van only had channels in place of the original sill .. If it's not to much trouble Ken a couple of pics would be much appreciated .. The more I have to guide me the better .. Cheers Fred

Cheers Fellas .. Yes there's a bit to do so we'll see .. The pic I'm attaching here shows the seam I was talking about , between the door and the wheel arch . Can anyone tell me how the top panel meets the sill . Does it shape in with a lip like the top of the sills then spot weld in ?? Some sort of answer would be great , can someone help please .By the way , how nice is this Pano ? Cheers Fred.
