1  Technical Board / Restoration Help / Rear swaybar on: April 22, 2004, 10:25:00 AM
Can anyone tell me how to fit a rear swaybar? I have the swaybar, sorry anti-swaybar,  but have no instructions. I'm unsure of the angle of the short link arms. Also I am not sure as to the correct width of the bar. The unit was bought from a swapmeet hence no instructions. I believe it to be a K-Mac bar. It works a treat on corners. The problem that I'm having is that the short arms are hit by the springs whenever going over moderate to big bumps. These bars could be picked-up from any milkbar during the 1970's but now the knowledge seems to be lost. Please help me. Send a reply to the forum or look for the person on their back at the ANZAC day display at Panthers Penrith NSW on the 25th. I'll be checking out old Holdens for swaybars. Thankyou all.
