1  Technical Board / Modification Help / Re: Moulded Carpet & Moulding clips on: August 07, 2002, 12:25:23 AM

Thanx Guys,

I'm now right for Moulding clips, unfortunatley for the boot mat, no go anywhere except a bloke in Sydney who whould make it for $2000. It a bit out of my price range. I guess I'll have too stitch one together.

Cheers,

Adrian

Thanks Tony,

Unfortunately I just got off the phone with them
and they couldn't help with either moulding clip.

I'm starting to think I wont be able to get them, has anybody else come across this problem and what's your advise to get around it.

Brmm Brmm

3  Technical Board / Modification Help / Moulded Carpet & Moulding clips on: August 01, 2002, 09:49:25 PM

Help needed again,

Yesterday I went to Rare spare to place an order for Moulded carpet for a FC Special Sedan, no problem  there but they couldn't order moulded carpet for the boot. Does anyone out there in netland know where I can get onto someone who does do moulded carpet for the boot, so I can order both at once. I still have the old boot rubber mat for a pattern to go off if they need it.

The other problem was moulding clips, Rare Spares  in Wagga basically had all the clips that would get all the mouldings on except the clips over the rear wheel double panel, there are 5 on each side that you screw into the quater panel from the outside then push the moulding over the spring clip to secure it in place, The other type where the clips that go on the ends of the front door mouldings, (rear doors are the same), you put a small self tapper screw from inside the door flange and screw it into the clip, in the ends of the moulding, ( I hope I'm making sense here Huh )  I cant find them either, or an alternative if available. Hmmm what do I do.

Can anyone me find these badly needed bits.

Thanks in advance,

Adrian
