G’day all. I’ll try to keep this short & concise.. Over the past few months we’ve seen the cars / motoring event scene change rapidly. People are wanting shorter & more convenient events. The rise of these events like - cars & coffee, night runs, cruise nights, are really taking off. We’ve seen an opening in Sydney to start a new type of motoring club. So have a read & if you would like to be involved, please let us know. thanks. Welcome to Sydney Machina Social Club. We are a brand new, modern motoring club, for all types of vehicles. From Vintage, Classics, Customs, Rods, Modern Exotics, Motorcycles & more. If it's got wheels & a motor you can join our club, membership is free. We are for all types of people too, men, woman, kids, families, young & old, we welcome you all. We follow 3 very simple rules: • No politics • Common respect for all in the community • Common respect for all car enthusiast, regardless of make of model. Our 2 main goals are: To create fun, safe & memorable motoring events. To assist people or organisations in the Australian community in need. (fundraising) As we are a brand new club, we are currently looking for people who live in Sydney, have the time & passion who would like to get involved & be part of our organisational team. We are really keen to get woman involved too, we already have one on our team & would love to have more. We welcome all people too remember. hi all, was asking a question on the FB EK forum, regarding the radiator hoses, wondering if the EJ left the fatory with the part number painted on hoses, or the sticker .. anyway I found the pix of the FE at the GMH proofing ground. Stewy suggested i post it here to as it has a very interesting ID tag. if some could explain what the ID means.. Im not an expert on FE FCs but looks a little different??

hey mate. I was looking for my OLD mans HK, he sold it in 1993. I found it!
the way i found it was through the RTA. You lodge an Freedom of information form. You dont need the VIN number just the rego number is ok, because its all linked.
You ask them to send a letter to the last know registered owner, & go from there. Then its up to the owner if he wants to get in contact.

The FB-EK Holden Car Club of NSW Annual Judging Day is on once again.
How it works: Judging Day is open to all current members of the club. Participants display their car/cars in a show & shine event. The vehicles are then judge by other club member entrants.
If you are not a current member of the club & you would like to enter your FB or EK, you are more than welcome to join the club & display on the day. See below details on how to become a member.
If you are not a current member of the club & you would like to come & view these lovely cars, we would love that. A Gold coin donation would be greatly appreciated.
Judging categories: There are 3 category in which the vehicles can be entered - Original, Sports & Modified for both FB & EK models. Trophies will be awarded at the Presentation Dinner, on Saturday 17th November at Taren Point Bowling Club.
Members Free Sausage Sizzle: All members who participate in the displaying of their cars are entitled to a free sausage sizzle, put on by the club for its members.
Event Details Date: Sunday 4th November 2012 Time: 9.00am Location: Parramatta Park (location is area 12 & 13 - The Crescent) which is by the river
Becoming a member; You can become a member on the day, just turn up & pay your Joining fees & you are in. Fees as follows ( Initial joining Admin fee: $25.00 + $40.00 Membership fee = $65) Once you are a member, each year you only pay the Membership renewal fee = $40

A couple of people have tried reproducing these - there are lots of issues. A complex pressing and the fact that not only are all 4 different shapes but tab heights are different as well. All makes up to being VERY hard to get right.

Hey all, after EJ seat belts. after a full set, but will consider just front 2 only. Has to be blue in colour & style up to HR or even HK.
Will consider buckles only too. As long as the buckles are not rusty & buggered.

hey Billy, thanks for that. but Im actually trying to fix my Ej Prem Preslite 2 speed wiper washer. My wiper, currently the Nylon gear has been stripped. & it looks to me that the same gear was used in the standard Preslite 2 & single speed wiper that way I can fix my original wiper washer well he's hoping ??
