1  Technical Board / General Technical / Re: FC - VIRTUAL WHEELS ! on: October 21, 2004, 08:41:16 AM
the company has gone broke but the wheels can still be bought .  In the last 12 months i have machined new 17X8 and 18X8 moulds for the roh adrenalin and fury
, not mention a host of hsv moulds and a few billet 3piece centers for the hsv show cars currently in the motor show.

cool how you can see them spinning. pity you can,t change the paint scheme of the wagon.

g,day,  I have seen streetneats push button door openers and would like to do the same . Grin  In his story he uses leadwiping, instead of filler i presume.  Huh Can leadwiping be used in general instead of bog??   I want to do this myself but am having trouble finding the correct method.  any info would be apprieciated. Cheesy

cheers

3  General / General Board / Re: Streching the Imagination on: May 07, 2004, 06:39:31 AM
jeez you reckon the builder would have a spare bonnet or bootlid lyin around.  First one is probably a good cause but the second one would be something for hercules morse.... as big as a horse!!!! Grin

The article was a beauty.  more good ideas .
The ek looks damn fine too. Three cheers to Streetneat.

(I took time to ensure the correct spelling , thus to avoid the wrath of Mrs. Streetneat.

7  General / General Board / havin fun on: April 05, 2004, 09:44:30 AM
havin fun but the more i strip off,  the more holes i find , and I mean that in a non sexual way.  People told me to make sure that the Y frames were in good order, shite they are one hundred percent fine, I wish the rest of the car was in as good shape   Cry.  Front guards came off today and all seats are out.  Found some remains of original paint .....its green ......green is nice.    Grin     next weekend will be doors and glass ,  surely there can't be any more metal cancer .......

9  General / General Board / can of worms on: March 11, 2004, 09:41:44 AM
week three of the dismantling of my fc and you start to wonder why anyone would bother.  the old girl was " done up" back in 83, and added to since by the past 3 owners and the shortcuts taken then are really going to hamper progress.  with the aim to do as much as i can myself i think a mig welder and an anvil will be next on the shopping list.
also, is there a really neat way of hiding the seatbelt bolts which currently can be seen on the outside of the center pillar.  im thinking that a sub plate could be made up and inserted into the inside of the pillar. Huh

Has anyone out there done an fc running only lpg ( with motor built to run only on lpg, if so i would be interested in catching up .
cheers

10  General / General Board / well the journey now begins on: February 11, 2004, 12:03:35 PM
fc rebuild started  ( unbuild i mean)  nothing found is to scary yet   no big rusty holes .  thanks to those who gave advice and opinion on what I should do with the old girl. (sitting down with a few beers to help was just a nice way to spend an arfo ).  I am still no closer to making any decisions but after talking with some people at street machine show & shine on the weekend ,I doubt that a V8 will be on the shopping list.
cheers

11  General / General Board / fc into shed or grave feb 15 on: January 22, 2004, 08:52:30 AM
hello to all in fc land.  I have only owned my fc for 6 weeks and already it has earned a space in the garage.
With rego due to run out soon,  the shed ( or grave depending what lies beneath ) is three weeks away.

after reading thru the pages here I am more confused with what I should do with the old girl.  6 or 8 ,auto or manual,  etc etc .  any ideas.  also i am in the adelaide hills if anyone wants to contact. help is always rewarded with beer and bbq's

cheers  DAVE
