5  For Sale and Wanted / Cars For Sale / FE Ute for sale on: April 30, 2010, 01:54:27 PM
Hi all,
I have a 1957 FE Ute for sale, moving interstate and it will be a bit impractical to keep.
I will get some pics uploaded following the weekend.
It is reasonably standard, with a little rust coming through in a couple of the usual places (Tailgate has seen better days).
Engine, gearbox & diff has been reconditioned approximately 5 years ago, and minimal miles done since.
Runs, stops (on 4x drums), and even goes around corners!
I am chasing around $8k, but would like some input from forum members once photos are up.
Also comes with spare sills(outer), finned alloy rocker cover, a twin carb manifold.
Keep an eye out for photos after the weekend!

11  Technical Board / Modification Help / Sideplate breather pipe mod. on: June 09, 2004, 11:14:33 PM
Has anyone had experience in modifying the breather outlet on the grey sideplate?
I was thinking about making up a breather box and pipe to run any oil/fumes back to the carb to burn it- rather
than dump it on the ground (or all ove the dist. and engine as my pipe is missing Embarrassed)
Has anyone attempted this before- or more importantly- is there a better way to solve this problem?
Can I get away with simply plugging the sideplate outtlet??
Cheers-

17  Technical Board / Modification Help / Seatbelts into FE ute on: August 01, 2003, 01:01:29 AM
Hi Folks,
Can anyone offer me advice on installing seatbelts into an FE ute?
Are there any existing point that I can mount them?? I would assume not.
Does anyone manufacture a kit that has pre-fabricated mounting point to weld in- or do i need to make them myself?
I am located in Melbourne.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
