Thanks guys, Its nice ya'll remember me around here. Things have been a little outa control for me ova the past 12 months with the businesses being all consuming and the six kids sucking what's left outa me. I am working on one of those "simplify ya life" plans, but it seems to take a lot longer in reality than in the "self-help" books ! :-/ Luckily I have a "Sarge" and he has managed to keep Hilda healthy - now with a 186 and disc brake f/end. The best thing about work these days is driving to and from in the old girl I'll get my act together one day and post some updates on "Hilda's Extreme Makeover" Hey Craig, how about those Poms! Another good belly laugh from you. Luckily the feeling is mutual between Emus and Poms. Not as bad as Emus and Kiwis tho Thanks to you too Phant........ now known as Bogan. Geriactricism is a nasty blight on our society! Well its off to work. 2 days to Christmas and we retailers need those sales. Keep up the posts. Emu - Old Bird

I can relate Harko.... Having six of the blighters I have even limited my time on the computer!! I have been a little scarce around these parts but I am stoked to see the progress fotes. I can't wait to see the pics of all three projects being driven at once! The physics of that exercise intrigues me, but I'm sure it can be done.

P.S. The house up the road ya wanna rent is no longer available......... I just told the rental agency you were a Kiwi with six kids!!! Try WA or even Sydney, they're pretty racially tolerant down there! Oops ... politically incorrect methinks.

Geez,
If Hilda started like that, her extreme makeover would be one of the shortest threads on the site!
It looks like a "cut n polish" would be 90% of the resto!
Great find Nick
Cheers,

As Hilda's owner, let me respond..... RET is talking here, I believe, about space taken by photos as attachments, not the posts themselves. The words take up very little cyber-space in my limited understanding. I was very careful to take the time to master the awkward and time-consuming "Starphoto" linking system before I began posting photos. I did this in response to RET's request at the time because of bandwidth concerns. Some of you, such as Craig A, may remember the help I required to accomplish this task. So.... correct me if I'm wrong RET, but I think "Hilda's Extreme Makeover" may be less of a problem than many other threads. I say this because Hilda's makeover is continuing and may produce another 10000 views before this bloody great money pit is done!! Emu - Bird with large money shovel.

Harko, Crack me up or what!! Geez I've missed that. Hey all. I've been somewhat absent from the site with my businesses sucking most of the life out of me and my six kids finishing the job! I was waiting to completely finish Hilda before posting a series of fotes. I have recently received my rubber mats from "Obsolete" which although excellent in quality, took forever to arrive. (Leave lots of lead time if you are planning on purchasing from Obsolete). I don't know whether I posted my Chrome story. The summary is, I sent away a huge load of chrome to a local bloke who moved away with my stuff to set up business in Warwick and then unfortunately he passed away. A year or so later I am still trying to retrieve it. Sarge has set up Hilda with loaner chrome and bits I have snavelled from various sources. Update: We have obtained an HR front end and a 186 which are being prepared for my girl. Sarge is replacing the steering box, installing mats and some badges that have never been in place since the chrome drama and doing some tidying up. I'll try to get some fotes posted to continue the never ending epic of "Hilda's Extreme Makeover" Yours truly Cecil B DeEmu.

Hey Ken,
I would like to bid on a few of the items on the list attached to RET's post. How would I do that?
If I was successful, how do I get it up here to the Goldie?
