Wow... thanks guys for the replies.. and so quickly. I didn't realise that  there we so many FC/FE lovers/owners out there.  I will send some pictures of my old ute ASAP. I really hope I can get this project on the road. I guess I will have to ask you for your help along the way (if you don't mind). Speak to you soon and thanks again... Blue

Hi.. this message is the start of a long journey which will return my rusty old FC ute into a classic piece of history.  I stripped it down about ten years ago after I found it under a tree on a farm (along with an FE ute and sedan as spares).  The trouble is that there is a lot of rust near the corners where the sub frame bolts onto the main cabin are (just near the bottom of the doors.)  My questions are... is this hard cut these areas out and are these segments available for replacement??  I really owe it to this ute and myself to bring it back to life..  Cry :'(Thanks..
