2  For Sale and Wanted / Cars For Sale / FC Special Low Miles After resto on: November 07, 2009, 02:49:42 PM
FC Special for sale, this vehicle was fully restored in 2001 with everything new old stock or new fitted. I went to great lengths to retain originality, for example it took me 3 years to find an original roof lining. All metal parts were re anodized, eg nut bolts ect. Colours are Granite Grey and Indian Ivory with a riff red and black interior. This is a regretful sale, but I just don’t drive the car anymore so as a consequence I am selling as its just gathering dust.
Only travelled 3000 miles since overhaul, engine starts first time and runs excellently (no rattles except for the heat box valve as it works). L block fitted naturally but was lucky enough to find a stock block with no ridge and fitted Ryco special X pistons original size 132.5 cb inches. As I said it was fully overhauled so it drives beautifully even with the Olympic air rides fitted no wobbly driving or brakes pulling to one side. The side kit was on the car when I bought it so it went back on, see pics.
Fully re-wired in original colours and gauges.
Fully re-upholstered with the springs all fixed, no sagging seats or rusty wires.
Log books and warranty cards.
Serviced every 1000 miles since rebuild.
This has been a club car since it was back on the road and faired well in local comps.
Ex club president for 3 years running.
Lots more to add any question send me an e-mail or call me, I am asking over $20,000 so if you want it for $5,000 or something don’t waste my time please . As this is an FE/FC site with club members I will put my phone number up, normally I would prefer not to.
So contact Ron Taylor on 08 85243112 or e-mail rtaylor@baonline.com.au

P.S. Tried to post pics but no go, will send them to ppl who enquire or look at carsales tomorrow 8th Nov.

That is a nice buggy Glenn, loooks like it could be the similar colour to Ian's FC sedan. Are u gunna take it out on club runs eventually? It sure would look good on teh road.
