Hey Machine

I've been looking at that car for a fair few years now since I changed jobs and started plumbing that area.  For a car thats parked on the street every day its in such good condition.

Cheers Mark.

Hey Machine

Would the name of the street where this car is be a girls name? located in a suburb that a football team is named after? :-/

Hi

I'm at a point in my life where I now do not have the time or funds to start and finish this car to the level I would like, so its for sale.

Early 59 model, two tone blue Sydney built sedan, travelled 60k, off road since 1990, excellent body and panels with only surface rust, no major rust in this car.
Interior is like new with plastic on the seats. Car is very original down to nuts bolts and clips. Has many nasco options on it- grill badge, scratch plates, granny visor, venetian, door pull toos. Never had seat belts fitted. Car starts and drives and would be an excellent basis for a resto to original as this car has not been modified. Still runs tin top clutch&brake reserves.  Priced at $3700.
If interested please PM or call Mark on 0425 817 707

Will post car details once I am able to get to it.

Thanks for the reply, very interesting. Was this letter coding only used on the FE's or did it carry onto FC's as well?

Regards Mark.

20  General / General Board / Unusual ID numbers on: June 05, 2005, 09:20:37 AM
Hi Guys

I was up at a mates farm today and had a look at the old FE Ute he has. I noticed on a ID plate that beside(to the right) of the stamped trim and paint numbers were a couple of letters stamped. Half way between them the letters "A S" are stamped.
I removed the ID tag so i could take photos of it to post up.

Any ideas???

Cheers a-c
