I'm re-fitting my timing cover and would like to know what is recommended  ... just the gasket, or gasket and goo, or just sealant, or a combination... what is best for a good seal?

Front and rear springs are different according to the manual and are not interchangeable !

Went to Pirtek , Port Macquarie and "Dean" sorted it all , no problem ... will be back there for sure ... also sorting hoses and fittings for twin cabs ... highly recommended .

Fitting remote oil filter and oil gauge ... need a Tee piece or two ... Mr Bitz has chromed for $99 and on Ebay they are up to $550 from Taiwan , WTF !!!!!!! Thanks Ken ... Perhaps I will restrict stainless to the "bling" chrome bits ... Are the bolts listed on the parts CD ?

Have re-re-re-recommenced putting the FE back together after 10 years plus and have decided to replace all bolts , pipes , pressure pipes etc , etc  (have misplaced many or donated some to my FJ) ... thinking of going mostly stainless ... any thoughts ?? Also , is there a listing of specs for all bolts on FE & FC ? ... ie ... UNC and/or UNF ... presumably all are imperial ?  Any advice will be appreciated ...
