Being picky, I think some older ones don't have the intrusion bars but could be wrong.  Pretty sure commercials of that vintage didn't.

Hi Andrew. The rust on the drivers side is thin enough that you can see through. It is not structural. The rust on the passenger side is not as bad,few pinholes.I will take some photos and put up.Car just need someone to look at it.But it is clean rust(if there is such a thing).I had the whole boot area sand blasted.I repaired some rust around where the petrol tank sits. All repairs where carried out using metal out of an Fe boot area.I painstakingly repaired the sparewheel well(then found a nos one?).

As Tony said we checked it out, lovely interior,no rubber mats? FB Motor? and a few other minor things which are not right, however a very nice car that you could drive straight to shows .

Cheers Geoff?
Ps Didnt really see many accessories on it.
16  Technical Board / General Technical / Re: Brake Booster on: April 24, 2005, 01:19:18 AM
I think the problem is that we are used to driving newer cars with great brakes and we have to remember that our cars are nearly fifty years old and thats just how they are.

Ps.My brakes where smokin a bit on some of those jindabyne hills.

As an owner of 2 eks plus Fe & Fc ,I think you would find it suprising how many of our forum members have an interest in FbEk's.As Blacky says,Our site is national where as the Vic FbEk site, which is set out the same as our forum,is run by the Vic club.I think the FbEk clubs should join forces and start a national forum. It seems to be a political reason as to why they dont.I myself dont use the Vic FbEk site anymore as you dont get answers for a month. Its a shame the site does not get used as the guy who has set it up has done an outstanding job.
My 3 cents worth.

Good to see a young bloke into Old Holdens instead of "2 fast 2 furious" type cars.
