1  General / General Board / Custom Rodder FC `surfie' van on: October 06, 2009, 10:12:25 AM
Can anyone help me with info?
I'm putting together a book about the panel van boom of the '70s -- and what lead up to it, and what has followed etc -- so am looking for any information about the FC ``surfie van'' which was featured in Custom Rodder #7 in 1969. Van was owned by Graham Aitken, built by Ray Hollingsworth, who worked
for Ty Hardin in his custom body shop.
Are these people and/or the van still around? Would love to get in touch or see any pictures. Anyone remember it?
And anyone who has early van stories, it would be great to hear them. As I keep telling people: The more I'm told, the better my chance of getting things right.
Many thanks,
Stuart Scott
