1  Technical Board / Restoration Help / Instrument surround on: March 22, 2009, 06:12:28 PM
I know this has come up lately, but I get mixed messages.
Two things:

1.  Is the instrument surround for an FC now available from Rare Spares as I was at the Bayswater store a week ago and they said no?

2.   How do you dismantle and re-fit the surround?

Any help or advice much appreciated.

John
2  General / General Board / Re: Tracking an FC's history on: March 09, 2009, 05:40:13 PM
Thanks Keith et al,

I will try to track through the rego with the State authorities and see if they can help.

The rego has been with the car all the way through.

As for the idea of making up stories because no one will know the difference, that is one way to go but not the most interesting one.

Many thanks

Has anyone seen the Queensland the two tone blue FC that is for sale on ebay now?

Does it have a rust problem?

Has anyone seen this car?

If all the seller says is reasonably true, is the $7-8000 the right range?

Any ideas?
