1  Technical Board / General Technical / Re: floor change to colum change on: August 24, 2010, 06:03:28 PM
thanks for the feed back im unsure what kind of shifter it is but would rather make it colum change than move the floor shifter and as for putting the grey box back in I was told it wouldnt handle the 186 Undecided
2  Technical Board / General Technical / floor change to colum change on: August 23, 2010, 06:37:35 PM
My fc has a 186 engine with what i am told is a three speed torrana gearbox and so has been converted to floor change with a toyota hilux seat to allow for the gear stick . I want to put the original seat back in and put her back to column change but the configuration of the column doesn't match that of the gearbox and so was wondering if anyone knew of an addapter part I could buy as they seem to be available for a column to floor conversion
cheers Huh

If thats what they are off when i got the seat the passenger side surround was chucked in I thought they must have been an after market thing . I'm recovering the seat and just thought the metal surrounds would look better if I could find a drivers side surround

HI guys im currently doing up my steering box for my fc holden. I brought a berrings and bush kit from rear spears  but it did not include the bush in the top plate witch holds the lash screw. Apparently this was originly sold as one complete pice and is no longer made . Have my fine friends across the ditch have any suggestions?.
