4  Technical Board / Modification Help / Re: Alternator for grey motor on: August 03, 2009, 01:57:21 AM
yes but with falcon bosch no welding or changes to original mount is needed as with 2 legs line up of belt running true is easy as it uses original bolt line alternator is suported each end  less work
5  Technical Board / Modification Help / Re: Alternator for grey motor on: August 02, 2009, 04:45:59 AM
ea falcon bosh or xf just use a spacer beetween original rear mount and longer bolt remove front mount from block and use a shorter spacer or some washers use belt 11a0915
6  Technical Board / General Technical / Re: amp gauge wiring on: March 10, 2009, 09:53:05 PM
dont run alternater through amp meter what you do is the main feed wire that is on starter motor with battery lead the smaller one  not the one from battery cut this wire so you have two ends  one still on starter motor one goes to inside car make these longer to reach gauge one each side of meter if it shows back to front swap leads around so what you are doing is putting meter in this line    hope this is clear enough
