JOCKSTER
THE T5G BOX (VKGPA & WALKINSHAW) ARE THE ONLY V8
BOX THAT RAN A FINE SPLINE FRONT SHAFT AND ALL GETRAG (VS S2 AND VT).ALL AUSSIES ARE COURSE SPLINE,THERES EVEN AN M19 BOX (1 TONNER).M20 AND M21 ARE DIFFERENT RATIOS SO U CAN'T PUT A M21 FRONT SHAFT IN A M2O BOX WITHOUT SWAPPING THE CLUSTER.
EASY WAY TO TELL ALL M21 BOXES HAVE TWO LINES ON FRONT SHAFT,M20 HAVE 1 AND M19 HAVE NO LINES ON FRONT SHAFT.V8 AND SIX ARE THE SAME BOX EXCEPT FOR LENGTH OF FRONT SHAFT.EXTREMLY RARE TO FIND A M21 SIX BOX,USUALLY SLR TORANA,XU1 M19 BOX IS USLESS RATIO WISE

6  For Sale and Wanted / Parts For Sale / ;)Re: V8 STAINLESS EXHAUST on: December 11, 2002, 07:51:38 AM
ED,EVEN IF YOU USE VT 5LT MANIFOLDS THEY STILL WON`T BOLT UPTO YOUR HEADS BECAUSE ALL 5 LT INJECTED EXHAUST PORTS ARE IN DIFFERENT POSITIONS TO THE EARLY HEADS.AND TAKE IT FROM ME THERE IS NO ROOM FOR ANY STANDARD MANIFOLD TO EXIT WITHOUT HITTING EVERYWHERE(BELIEVE ME I TRIED)SORRY TO DISSAPOINT YOU
BRAD (FCV8UTE).
PS IF YOU ARE HANDY WITH A TIG WELDER AND A BLO TORCH U ARE BETTER OFF BOLTING YOUR ENGINE TO AN ENGINE STAND AND BUYING A BAG OF MANDREL BENDS FROM ANY EXHAUST SUPPLY WAREHOUSE AND MAKE  ;)YOUR OWN BLOCK HUGGERS.THEN THEY`LL FIT

In Follow Up to Eds Comments They Told Me I Wouldn't
Get The Pipes Out Through The Rails Either But I Proved Them Wrong. Looks Like Youve Used A Hadfield F/End
Ed.Unlike Ed I Left The Engine In The Orginal Position; But Widend The Rad Support Panel And Hid The
Rad Under The Bonnet Locking Panel And Cut The Support Bar Out That It Bolts To.Again Personal Choice.
Ive Had An Fc That I Fitted A Chev Small Block And This Time 5lt And Found The Injected 5Lt A Easier Fit (Photos On This Site.

thanks jason for putting my pics on this site.he is right in saying not much has changed in 8 months but ive now come to the stage where it needs a cash injection again adding to that fact im building a new garage and landscaping the back yard ive had to put the cover on the ute for a while.no good rushing things and stuffing them up when you have other projects on the go.but what you see is 6 months work and probably another 4 months to go.believe me jason i can think of nothing better than driving this car around when its finally finished. thanks again jason
PS STILL THINK YOU SHOULD HAVE GONE THE INJECTED 5 LTR INSTEAD OF THE SIX.
