Nope!! But early chevy kingpin stubs fit {around 54] and they'll drop ya frontend around 2"s, give ya bigger drums but change ya boltpattern to chev/HQ.

We used a EK column in th wagon with a fc wheel, looks factory.I chucked a hr column in for kat first up but th wheel sat too low and my spare EK column work's a treat with plenty of leg space tho it does have camry buckets with adjustable ride hieght and yes i'm over 6ft.

i wasn't able to access ED's info on Dana 44's how DO you identify what ratio these diffs have and if it's LSD. I guess th trick is to run tall tyres to change th ratio, seems th perfect tuff diff for our 38rat PU. Due to th wheel offsets i'd allready dismissed th diff for our slammed early holdens.

Technical Board / Modification Help / fitting EFI to 179-186
|
on: July 23, 2007, 11:59:04 AM

Not wanting to re-engineer our early holden to a 202 EFI i want to know? can a earlier mill be retro fitted with th later hop up gear?.We have a 192 here 60thou over with a blue motor crank that needs a rebuild can i just slot in th EFI cam, dizzy, modify th head and build some headers to fit or is it more invoved than that?.Now i'm aware of all extra mods required to bring th car up to spec as we have a EFi rod project on th go. So can 179's to 186's go EFI?.

Technical Board / Modification Help / Re: Lowering my FC Sedan
|
on: July 22, 2007, 11:32:00 PM

We lowered th FCwagon with 3" lower springs front and gas shocks and had th rear leafs reset 3"s and had th spring eyes reversed and had th hangers flipped it sits low and look's FAT. Th EK Kustom has dropped stubs, resert springs and th rear has reversed eyes, flipped hangers and is reset 5.5inches not bad for th daily driver tho th rear can be lifted.

Technical Board / Modification Help / Re: EH column in FC wiring
|

Yeah um "poo wagon bloke" any column up to HR will bolt in cept th latter is too short and will put your stock steering wheel in your lap, hence th reason we opted for th EK column and its stock 3 wired indicator assembly and due to th auto fitment we wired th HR neutral safety switch via a HR wireing diagram. It works like a treat' tho it has a accessory reverse lamp fitted as th car does not retain th original taillights or rear quarters anymore.

Great wiring tips, my ol'man fitted up a powerglide to th FC's grey motor and and re-fitted a EK column to a column shift auto by using a HR column and th wiring tips will come in handy, groovy stuff.

Its got me to thinking that tho I can dig ya consul designs but they look hauntingly similar to th tube consul in guru's EK kustom cept his only flow to th seats and wrap under th dash for a touch of corvette.

Just do it like you planned to with tube but come straight down a coupla inches or whatever for clearance and thendo a coupla tight 90degree bends to bring it out th distance and then go straight down into th consul shape. I guarantee this'll still look period but Trick enuf to still stand out from th rest and hey - presto it'll look neat.
