1  Technical Board / Restoration Help / Re: vacuum wipers on: June 06, 2009, 08:38:51 PM
I sent my vacuum wiper motor to a Mr Ron Wilson of Jayron Sales. He is at NO11 Hazelwood Avenue. Cranbourne. Vic. 3977. Ph 03 59969504. He reconditioned it and it works very well. It was about two years ago, Iasume he still does it. He does it from home, he used to work for Trico so he knows what he is doing.
2  Technical Board / Restoration Help / Re: rear shockies on: December 28, 2008, 10:09:22 PM
I cleaned up my old original shock absorbers and dropped to my local shock absorber supplier (Albury Shocks). They sent them to Melbourne and had them reconditioned back to new for the same price as new shocks. I told them not to paint them as they normally do a rough job, when I got them back I treated them and painted in POR15, they come up looking and performing as good as new, and original!!!!!. Very happy with the result.  Regards PM
3  Technical Board / Restoration Help / Re: Cleaning Upholstery on: December 28, 2008, 09:58:46 PM
I recently did my upholstery and roof lining. I used Dissol and Mr Muscle but instead of s nail brush I purchased a dust pan and brush set from Bunnings. I chose a brush with the sofest longest bristles and used this to scrub in the dissol and Mr Muscle, it worked well and I did it in lot less time. Hope this helps. Regards PM.
