4  For Sale and Wanted / Cars For Sale / 1963 EJ Holden Sedan with full reg and RWC. on: April 27, 2011, 09:59:40 PM

Holden EJ 1963 manual Sedan $10,600.00

Nice unmolested clean early Holden with Grey 138 ci motor, it has mag wheels and also comes with original steel wheels and hubcaps.

The car is registered to December 2011 and has a Victorian RWC

General Information

Car drives like a 1963 Holden should, the brake booster makes the brakes excellent. The EJ runs happily on 91ron unleaded fuel, without the need for lead additives due to new hardened head seats.
I have spent over $3500 on mechanicals to make this car reliable and fun to drive.

New parts.

Radiator core, Top and Bottom Radiator hoses, Heater hoses. Thermostat housing, Thermostat, Radiator cap, Fan belt, Brake booster, Master cylinder, Slave cylinders, Brake reline, Machined brake drums, Brake hoses, Spark plugs and Leads, Electronic distributor kit, Coil, Four shock absorbers, Muffler, Tail pipe, Fully reconditioned Head with Hardened Seats, Valves and Guides, Rear Shackle Bushes, Handbrake cable, Indicator Flasher can, Wiper rubbers, Clutch and Brake Rubbers, Indicator and Stop light lenses, Floor Carpet (Knox carpets), Rust Repairs and paint, Wheel alignment, Windscreen Washer kit (wired to wiper control )

The car has had new floor pans fitted at some stage and is almost rust free, there are some small bubbles on one rear wheel arch only.

Everything works on the car, it will be sold with a full Victoria RWC.

The are two bad points, a small tear in the back of front seat, and the rear seat has some splits which will need redoing, otherwise, it’s all done ready to just go cruising and enjoy.

Car can be viewed at Melton or I can supply photos on request.

For more information ring Graham 03 9743 2276 ( Melton. VIC )

12  For Sale and Wanted / Parts Wanted / Re: Front seat plastic trim on: December 31, 2002, 03:37:27 AM
Hi Brad,
Got the car on the road ok, it was all finished except for some minor interior trimming, it was looking real good. Smiley

But on the 9/11, I had just washed the car to get ready for a Vic club run the next day, and took it for a drive around the block to be sure it was dry.

200 metres fom home a guy in a new Magna decided he wanted to drive on my side of the road as well as his.  Resulting in one very badly stuffed Magna and a very sick and sorry fc.  Cry

It wasn't too bad until they had to cut me out of it and took out most of the drivers side of the car. Shocked

My wife and I are pretty busted up and are still in hospital and look like being here for at least a few more weeks (7 down and still counting). Roll Eyes Cry

If it wasn't for bad luck I wouldn't have any.

I can highly recommend Shannons Insurance they have been fantastic, not one problem and they have gone out of their way to assist. Smiley

Anyway it looks like I'll have a few parts for sale soon including a fully reco'd 132 with less than 2000 k's on it.

Hope all is well for you.

Regards,
Steve...

17  Technical Board / Modification Help / Jet sizes for twin carbs on: September 18, 2002, 09:57:32 AM
Hi Everyone,

I'm about to install extractors and a twin carb set up onto a stock 132 and I'm wondering if anyone can suggest the correct jet sizes for the carbs?

The motor is completely stock and will be fitted with a set of HPC coated Lukey extractors and a high torque twin carb manifold, I have been told that 49 mains and 36 power jets could a good starting point, any other suggestions would be great help.

Thanks,
Ozfueler.
