Thanks for the comments guys. Really would prefer to keep it, but since the house is also on the market, it has nowhere to stay. Having said that, I've had lots of offers from people willing to "look after it". Of course, I can't trust any of them!

For Sale and Wanted / Cars For Sale / Very Nice FC Ute for Sale

Hi all,
Unfortunately I'm moving overseas again and my ute will have nowhere to live. I love it, the kids love it and everyone who sees it loves it too.
58 FC Ute in Skyline Blue, fully restored by Fast Eddie in the not too distant past. Warm Grey, HR front end. Full details and photos from Fast Eddies original sales pitch are here http://fefcholden.org.au/forum/index.php/topic,11348.0.html Ute has only travelled 300 miles since I bought it, and lives in a garage the rest of the time. I have added a jack and spare rim (no tyre on it yet!), and replaced the master cylinder (which had a small leak). Fast Eddies side exit pipes had to go to get it registered in Tassie (now a 2 into 1). Think they still may be around somewhere....
$17500 firm.
I'm not in Oz at the moment so pm me if you have further questions. Dunno how to post a recent photo yet......

The car is in Tassie. I'm overseas at the moment though. Is the visor a solid painted version or chrome mesh?
I found this in a post from 2005 so I'll check them out....
"Give Nick from Cauchi's Auto Accessories (Melbourne) a call on 0412 544 651, he's the bloke Al was referring to in his reply. Cauchi's Auto Accessories make a wide range of repro spats for most classic Australian cars. I've seen the range of spats Nick has on offer at the Sandown swap meets and from what I've seen, they're of very good quality plus all spats are sold already in grey primer so all you have to do is get the spats painted in the colour you want. From what I've seen so far, all their spats are priced at $120 per pair, GST inclusive."
Thanks guys

For Sale and Wanted / Cars Wanted / Re: FX, FJ, FC, FB, EK Ute wanted

Hi Fast Eddie, That's beautiful! From the look of the pics thats the result of a pretty extensive rebuild. Do you have any pics of the rebuild process? I take it that the body is rust free and everything works. My budget was $12,000 but this looks to be worth more than my budget. I was hoping for something I could drive whilst rebuilding, but I suppose something like this would save a lot of elbow grease. Let me know what you're asking and I'll check my finances. By the way, what state are you in? Cheers, Wannaute

Hi, I'm looking for an FX, FJ, FC, FB, EK ute. Prefer either unrestored or faithfully restored to original (ish) specs. Preferably something driveable but will consider anything straight. Cheers, Wannaute
