You still got the car for sale?

Hi guys,
Some of you are aware that I'm in the market for an FE or FC up to $10K.  No luck so far.  But in the process of hunting, I've come across an issue I need some advice on.  I'm looking for something that's been modified.  I've always thought in terms of a 186 or something similar as replacement to the old sideplate.  But I've seen a couple of cars that are running small V8s, and one of them was on gas.  Just on a fuel economy point of view, what kind of mileage can I expect from a small block V8 on gas?  (and can you talk to me in mpg, I still can't get my head around km per litre)

So what's the update on the FC?  Still for sale?  What does your mate want for it?  I'm still in the market for a drive away FC/FE.  (I'd prefer an FE, but would still be happy with FC)

I think you're getting no interest because the price is too high.  Scroll through the forum and you'll see what cars are fetching.  I may be interested myself but nowhere near that price.

Hi people,
Coming back to my roots and so I'm looking for a nice, straight, semi-modified OK FE sedan.  Prefer disc brakes and larger (not extreme) motor.  Must be street ready and drive away.  Do you reckon I can find something nice for $5 - $7K?  I'm in Sydney.  And hey, which club do I need to join once I've got a gem?
