Hi Micheal,
Thanks for the input, I have contacted the guy in New Zealand regarding cost and delivery and will let you know what I find out. I'm guessing this stuffs not cheap but if you believe the website it's a very easy application saving a lot of time and effort.

Hi Mini,
The wagons progressing slowly, the sills are done and I have just finished putting in the chasis rails (not unlike Fatboys ute). I plan to get the shell blasted and then consult an engineer to make sure I'm on the right track. I'll post some pics when it looks a bit more respectable. How's your van going ?

Thanks for the reply Ken.
I remember reading a thread about a dye or stain you could use on faded lenses. Anybody know about this stuff?

12  Technical Board / General Technical / Rear Indicators on: February 20, 2007, 08:01:50 AM
I just got some tail lights off E-Bay and pulled them apart for a clean. I noticed the inner brake light lenses are different colours and I am guessing this is due to fading but I thought I post it anyway to see what others think.

Both lenses have the same number up each side 7410528 but running across the bottom is the word Holden on both then the number 89 on the left one and the number 122 on the right.
Are they the same part?
Can I buy at tint to fix the left one?
Cheers

13  Technical Board / General Technical / Re: rotisserie on: February 16, 2007, 08:57:17 AM
I just bought some engine stands from Super Cheap (about $70.00 each). I had to straighten them as they come on an angle, added some braces and raised them to about 1220mm and make up some bars to attach to the bonnet hinge mounts and the rear bumper mounts.

A word of caution, do not replace sills while car is on rotisserie or you will have an FC sandwich Smiley.
Cheers
Dave
(hope this works, first time I've posted pics)
