Club Run to the Rock & Roll Rendezvous

National Motor Museum, Birdwood

Weather looked like it was about to rain but it didn't.

A great turn out by most clubs and some very nice vehicles.

Busy weekend

Some of our members entered the GM Day at Tununda Oval.
4 Cars today.
Just as hot as yesterday but better maintained oval kept the temp down on the oval.

Old Skool and New Age Auto Show at Bice Oval, Christies Beach.

3 Cars at the event today.

Great weather not much breeze to blow the dust in from access roads.

During the afternoon it became quite hot out on the oval

Last night we had a beach cruise with HD/HR Holden Car Club of SA Inc., Classic Cars Clubs for a Combined Beach Cruise.

The run started at West Lakes Shopping Centre behind Hungry Jacks and McDonald's and ended from where it started.

10 cars from Our Club at today's event. Great weather for the cruise which showed by the number of cars from our club.

About 40 Cars turned up for the cruise which started about 7.30pm.

Cruised from West Lakes to Semaphore to Largs Bay and onto Outer Harbour and return.

A very relaxed event and well organised with plenty of time to chat.

Hello All

After much delay with software issues.

We are happy to announce that the Dvd Set has been tested and is now ready for sale.
Information about the DVD set is at our club web site.

I have also sent an email to the various club that i could find E-mail addresses to let you know about it.
We have priced the set at $30.00 and are planning to get the individual clubs to take orders, collect the money and distribute the to the members through the club meetings and club events as this will greatly reduce the packaging and postage costs to individuals.
At present i only have a handful ready but will run off more as required.

I have not done all the sums yet but soon as i work out some other issues ie to add postage and handling or bulk delivery to the clubs for distribution to keep costs down. I will post details as soon as it is clear which is the best and simplest way to go.

Club Run Sunday 23rd November 2008
 
Club Run and family picnic at Thorndon Park Reserve, Gorge Road Paradise.

7 cars on run.

Some arranged to meet at the Entertainment Centre, Hindmarsh.

Some drove directly to the reserve.

Weather was great, sunny day breeze from lake a little chilly.

9 cars on the  Sunday run.

Northern members started at The Entertainment Centre car park, Hindmarsh at 9.45am and met up with the southern members on Main South Road for a cruise to Robin & Caroline's home at Myponga for a BBQ lunch and relaxing day sitting around the fire.

The Ambassador has a problem, they don't know anything about it and are not very nice on the phone.
It's ok solved the problem we are now booked into Turners Vineyard very helpful.

Hello all

I don't think vista is the only issue. Software companies just tell you it works but after spending $190 on software that is as they said is compatible with vista and xp, they forgot the important stuff like it fails to work on both.
Someone else's software coming up real soon.

If you can copy it to disc i can convert it to another format which i can use with other software that does not start with the letter A.
