Hi Brett, these ek auto colums are getting pretty hard to come by just to cut up, why don't you try for a HD/HR one and if your running a turbo 350 or 400 the shift gate is the same where as the EK one is backwards! Just a suggestion , Trev

I have a 132 with all accessories including a trimatic with adaptor plate. The motor is a good runner except for low compression in number 5 (burnt valve) 125 in all others, so reco the head or just fix the burnt valve and you've got a great motor! Would like $600 OBO thanks Trev I'm in Pakenham Vic, Phone 0414 557 622

Technical Board / Modification Help / Re: tripple carbs trick
|
on: March 11, 2006, 11:43:31 PM
|
G'day Nicko I know of 2 EK wagons that run tripple carbs, the way they are set up is to use the center carb for cruzin and the two outer ones kick in when hard exceleration is needed eg; uphills or towing. It is set up using a progresive linkage and fuel economy is not affected when cruzin round town. My question is why put tripple carbs on if your not going to use them? Something to think about anyway! Trev.
