84  Technical Board / Modification Help / Re: brake booster chev toploader install on: June 16, 2006, 03:04:33 AM
Hey Simins
My fc has a seperate booster mounted on the inner gaurd i thought that was original, if it isn't i'll find out what it's off and tell you, but it works fine in mine. (only a six though)

PS did you put the V8 in yourself?

85  Technical Board / Modification Help / Re: Any V8 worthy disks on: June 14, 2006, 08:47:05 AM
Yeah Rusty that was the car it was for 10k then i think the gut got drunk and sold it to his mate heaps cheap(which he regrets) and then he sold it to me for 8k so i dont know how cheap he got it for,

P.S i saw it three years before i bought it at the first V8s in darwin and i wanted it then, I saw it at super cheap but didn't have any cash free so i didn't even look at it but one day i just finished a cash job and had 8K in my back pocket (literally) and just happen to drive past it on some back street, so i bought it for the missus. now she drive the toyota???
86  Galleries / Members' FEs and FCs / Darwin FC special on: June 13, 2006, 04:55:46 AM
Here she is. its a she although the previous owner saw fit to scatch "Basil the beast" into the stearing wheel.

She has a 202 with a stromie and late model ignition, 3 sp crash box(second one in a year),hr frount end with disks, two speed wipers and all the mod cons you could ever want(a stereo stuck under the dash)

Most of the crome bits are there grill and bars are good. All in all its not bad for my first holden, and thanks to mark there will be anouther fc in the familly and anouther one in Darwin. http://s56.photobucket.com/albums/g169/Russ-T/

Toying with the idea of doing a full chassis incorporating the VT front suspension and steering as well as the IRS but any engineering will be done to suit a V8, anyone know an engineer in Darwin. also looking for cheap FC Preferabley a wreck so i can use it for the "Prototype" without killing mine.
