Hey Whale, Do you have a Red motor fitted? From what you described ![Roll Eyes](http://fefcholden.org.au/forum/Smileys/default/rolleyes.gif) (circular based screw thingy) ![Roll Eyes](http://fefcholden.org.au/forum/Smileys/default/rolleyes.gif) it sounds like you have Lucas points as fitted to some HR and HK Holdens, same as some 4 cyl F%&D Cortinas and Minis. Part number should be GL19. Try an Auto shop like Repco or Coventrys, they should have a Bocsh book with pictures. Seb

Technical Board / Modification Help / Re: Supra 5 Spd

Hey Brad, When I ordered my bell housing for my V6 Chev to 5 speed Supra conversion for my kit car, I was asked if I was going to use a cable or hydraulic set up and also if the clutch fork was on the left or right side. CRS is cast in the bell housing, I don't know about Dellow. As far as I know my CRS housing is stronger than other competitor housings due to extra ribs in the housing. Don't know if this applies to all housings. Spoke to a mate that tried to convert from cable to hydraulic a few years ago using same housing. It didn't work too well because there wasn't a machined flat surface to mount the slave cylinder and he cut the casing that the cable went through. Result was one wasted housing. He doesn't recall the brand.

Hi Guys, Any chance of re-posting the progress pictures and comments/instructions to them as i found them very informative. I didn't see what was said that had to be deleted but at least leave the helpful information and pictures for us to learn from. I'm sure it can be done, just delete the offensive stuff.

Technical Board / Modification Help / Re: Twin exhaust
|
on: May 20, 2007, 08:26:09 AM

I had a twin system on my HX sedan 202 Auto many years ago. It had a 2 1/2 inch V8 twin system from the rear mufflers back and a custom made pipe from the standard exhaust manifold to the mufflers. The mufflers were straight flow through type. It sounded like a V8, but i didn't drive it hard. Those that didn't know the car thought i had a V8. The only drawback was that one muffler would always need replacing before the other. I would go for a 2 1/2 inch single system if i had to do it again.
