Next week I'm replacing the timing gear in my Fe sedan
I'm OK with a spanner but not sure on the procedure
Can someone explain the process so I know what to do
the questions I have at the moment are
Do I drain the oil from the car and how do I align the timing marks as my timing gear is stripped
how do I put it back the right way'..is there any special tools [other than a harmonic Balancer tool]
any advice or pics or anything will be highly regarded

I have brand new clips that fit the 2 stainless strips [the ones that have holden and special] problem is that the clips dont appear to fit well
has anyone had any experience with fitting these
Once i remove all the glue from my stips I hope to have them fitted nice and tight without the fear of them falling of

i can show you a pic of how much i cut off a standard coil and then a photo of my fe to show you the results ,if that is a help,I cut 1-1/4 off mine but wish to cut more as my Fe sits level and I want to have it even lower

My left hand rear axle is leaking onto the brake shoes and then leaking on to the ground
where do you buy the seals from [rare spares?] and are they easy to repair

[Hi I have an 1956 Fe Holden ,recently while driving the headlights started to turn themselves on and off I checked all connections and fiddled with the light switch but I now notice its always blinking ,when you first turn them on the lihjts stay on for about a minute then they start blinking randomlyAvery strange problemI thought maybe the dipper switch is faulty but dont know any ideas Graeme]

I beleive it had a resto about 10-15 years ago
Its in pretty good nic ,it has some rust probs but not to bad
Im happy with her ,she drives really
well
