thanks heaps man, so if i put two on each side at the front it would be a go-er for my premier wheels? hahahah there not much biggr wheels just that there square edged radials look a lil tougher and aggresive, which in the art of female chasing and "lapping" the main drag of ballarat, the skinny cheese cutters probably wont do it!

G'Day guys n Girls, i was just wondering, if i lowering the effie 2" on lowering blocks bought off ebay, what would be the biggest wheels i could fit under the rear arches withouttubbing? i just wanna give my car a bit more of an aggressive stance so i was thinking maybe 15's or 16x8(??) on the rear and 15x5's on the front.. what offset and stuff like that isrequired? and what is the exact stud pattern of a FC 5x114 ive heard but i dont think this is true.

For Sale and Wanted / Other Stuff For Sale / HK Premier & 1985 Toyota Camry
|
on: December 15, 2009, 09:03:01 PM

HK Premier: body is in very bad condition, possibly restorable, main feature of this car is the interior which is all in near mint condition, the vinyl roof i believe has rust forming underneath it and this would require removal of the vinyl to repair the rust, the interior is as i said in Very Good Condition. motor runs but there is an electrical fault with the starter and as such has to be started by arcing the starter with a screwdriver, car is not registered or roadworthy located in ballarat all offers considered.
1985 Toyota Camry Liftback: registered till march next year, everything works, electric everything (iemirrors windows etc) would make an ideal first car for someone who is shorter than myself, as this was the only problem i found with the car (the fact it took quitew an effort to get in and out) would easily pass roadworthy, 5spd manual 2.0L FWD, car located in ballarat asking price $2650 neg.

Technical Board / Modification Help / Twin carb firestreak manifold
|
on: December 11, 2009, 10:18:09 AM
|
can any one tell me why on the manifold i have got for the 138 in my fc, has two bakelite (or similar material??) spacers between the manifold and carbs, a bloke who did one up in the seventies said it was an "ole hot rodders trick" to get more torque or something? being 16 i dont really understand what went on in the seventies... but is this a valid statement and should i get another two spacers made, the ones i had crumbled when i toook them off. any help would be appreciated!
