Title: Grey motor dwell angle Post by: Newby13 on January 02, 2023, 07:01:07 PM I am just setting up a grey motor I have rebuilt and was wondering if anyone knows what dwell angle should be on it using the original Bosch Dissy or do I just set the gap and leave it.

Your distributor needs to be in excellent condition (centrifugal advance working, with no wear in the parts; no end float in the shaft; vacuum advance working, and ground braid in good condition) before you install the module. The magnet sleeve is difficult to install over the distributor cam. You need to grind a small amount of material off the vacuum advance pull rod anchor bracket to clear the magnet sleeve. Rob |
