Hi, Interested to hear other members reply to this post, as I think this brand of speed equipment is unusual. Been in the game a long time and had a bit to do with speed accessories, but until I obtained a pair of cast iron exhaust headers recently clearly named LYN I had not come across this brand. Any history would be very interesting.  Cheers, Glenn

I too have not seen many of these, however, I’m not sure rarity increases value except to collectors.
I think $200 to $250 as a period rocker cover would be around the value, but a collector may pay more than that.

someone somewhere pops a blue pill and the price goes up

i also know nothing about lyn, nor have I done any research by using the box in the top righthand corner of this site that has been there for 20 years...

My cost estimate comes from the Vic auctions. The last rocker cover sold there was a Speco and it went for over $200

Not overly rare or unusual. Lyn was a Victorian manufacturer who made headers too. Ken is about right on the value.

Cheers,
Harv
