Title: Oil pressure gauge
Post by: Wookie 66 on May 05, 2021, 06:27:29 AM
Good morning all

Is it possible to retain the original oil warning light and fit an after market oil pressure gauge,
I spy a small plug towards the front of the block that the new gauge fitting will fit

Will that work or do I have use the original sender unit spot? Hope this makes sense

Cheers

Usually you just get a tee adapter

The small plug near the fuel pump goes nowhere. When you have an accessory oil filter fitted, the return line is fitted there, to return oil to the sump. For the pressure guage, fit a "T" at the oil pressure sender fitting. Cheers, Fraze

The small plug near the fuel pump goes nowhere.

From memory, that line of slotted-head plugs are on the cam oil feed gallery.
