Title: FE&FC`s for sale the day man landed on moon
Post by: BrendanC on July 19, 2003, 09:00:08 AM
A guy at work brought in a copy of The Sun (Melb) from 22nd July 1969. He had it because his family kept it as a momento of the day man landed on the moon. Check out the for sale ads and the job vacancies.

Seems like you`d be able to fill a shed with FE`s and FC`s for a couple hundred bucks.

Chow,
Brendan.

Brendan,
Memories ,Simca's, Hillman Imp's, Consuls , I was in 4th form high school then , no wonder most of the guys bought FE/FC's $160 -$200 at that time . wish they were still that price now ? (shhh also listed was my first car '61 XK falcon $285  YUK, what a tank ) Dad bought it for me in place of wages working on our farm for 6 mths so had no choice.
     Thanks for sharing the info.
 Norm
(also note the "hot Holden EK" ?)
