Or drill out with a countersink bit so it fits.

I though there was two versions of this piece and was hoping to get the longer one rather than modify...

Nes, I believe the only way is to modify mate. Not a hard job for someone like you. A couple of beers a couple more and then done. Regards Brett

There are 2 versions but you will be unlikely to find just the bracket by itself unless you bought another complete wiper motor.  You can easily modify by cutting and joining in a piece. Make sure the distance between the holes is maintained or just less than. Definitely not more than the length or wiper overrun will result.

I made a few trial runs in the 5 min i had and they are ok not real happy with them.
You cannot fold a deep enought offset and being m8 the nut hits the fold line. Also mine is reamed to much so sits lower. It was a 5min muck around.

And you cant make it longer or it puts your throws out..

So i want to check out which way it rotates as the pic that came up on crumpsters  pics shows that a spacer is needed so i thought of doing a small flatbar with the slot cut and having a boss tapped m8 with the taper reamed into it so it simply screws on. But which way it rotates determines weather it will unscrew or not.

I hope i havent confused people as i often confuse myself.

Heres the one i did.

I'll have a look tonight NES. I'll also post a pic of the arm I'm using. It's a combination of the Commodore arm where it fits to the motor, plus the end of the arm that was on the existing wiper motor when I got the car.

Hi FCR, here are pics of my modified arm. The Commodore arm bent quite easily and left room for the original nut. I cut the Commodore linkage end off and tacked on the end of the EK arm. It had already been chopped about by the previous owner. Now I know it works I'll weld it fully.
Unsure about rotation direction. Will rewire the motor tomorrow night and report back if no-one else can reply before then. Regards, Martyn

Pete
Could you knock them up with the waterjet.

You could cut them out of 15mm plate steel/alloy using the side profile to get all the offsets and not have to worry about the folds and get an exact right angle. Then drill the holes etc.

Cheers

Rotation direction of the Commodore motor I'm using is stamped on the cover plate of the motor. It's anticlockwise when viewed from the front of the car.

Hey Pete if you decide to knock a few of these up put me down for one i've got the same problem, all the plumbing for the rb30 manifold is in the way so i will have to mount the wiper motor slightly uphill and space it out.
