Title: Neat looking FC Sedan photographed in Colombo, Sri Lanka
Post by: Lee on February 20, 2013, 01:09:11 PM

Hi All,

I regularly check in with the forum - but I have had nothing out of the ordinary to add until now.. I have spent time living and working in Sri Lanka and managed to come across a few worn out FBs and an EK while I was there.

A friend of mine over there just sent me a photo of what he described as an old Opel.

It is infact a very nice looking FC Sedan. I am having trouble uploading the photo, I would be happy to email it to someone to get it up on the forum. Thanks, Lee

Thanks Alex  - and Pete for uploading the picture.

It is remarkable to see this FC in working condition in Sri Lanka - the hot, humid weather alone takes a real toll on most vehicles - lest I mention the manic driving and complete traffic congestion. I could not imagine the skill involved in driving an FC today in Sri Lanka.  Interestingly the number plate is period correct.

It's a real tease to only have this picture - I have pushed my mate to keep and eye out for it.   Cheers, Lee
