Title: Art Work
Post by: VAN059 on March 20, 2012, 05:30:12 PM
Hi Everyone,

Not sure if anyone has seen it yet, but in the latest Street Machine magazine they have used my FC Van in their Expression Session, drawing it up using some of my thoughts in what I would like to achieve with it. I haven't seen the mag yet, as I'm in Townsville & it's not out up here yet, but I fly back to BNE tonight & it'll be the first thing I grab at the airport.

I'll post up a pick here as soon as I can remember my bucket password.

Hope you all like it.

Cheers
Marc

Mark, just looked through the Street Machine, Aden has done a great job on the artwork, it looks fantastic. I like the way he has racked the b&c pillars forward, makes the whole van look more retro. Don't know that I'd have the balls to cut up a great van like yours, but hey, stranger things have been done. It would be great to see this artwork on the road as a runner.
All the best if you decide to have a go.
Regards Jim
p.s. did you read the artical on Gino Scullino's ute, sweet looking bit of gear.

looks cool but it would take a brave man to cut up a van as neat as yours

Well, finally remembered the password  ::)

and she's not looking as good as she used too. I'm in the process of building a garage for her, so the weather has been unkind to her, but I'm painting her matt black to hide the blemishes lol.

If you like that you should check out ""Harko"s build from a couple of years back!

Interesting...Havent flicked thru the latest SM.. my subs ran out  oops.

Raking the pillars fwd would be a good idea.. would negate having to lengthen the roof, plus give it more of  Chev style.. anything to avoid welding across the roof is a good thing... A perimeter cut around the roof to pancake the roof would give it the new width.

I'd like to get my hands on a van to chop it, or even make a delivery from a wagon.

Cheers
