A small generation unit may be the answer!

I have 25 panels getting fitted next week and a 35000litre underground tank getting built so no more bills hopefully.

wow.. nothing by halves eh??

I just had a 1.5kw system installed. 7 x 235W panels and SMA inverter.

Spent my project kitty but I feel good.

first reading last week was 7.85kw on a sunny day.

Cheers

Ed

Sadly mine are not producing yet due to a delay of several weeks to get a meter but should be done this Tuesday. We did test it for around half an hour and got nearly 5kWh's but it was all adding on to my meter so it is off.

I was just reading an discusion about cooling your panels on hot days to increase output. They were getting 10-30% increases by running or sprinkling water over the panels during the hottest hours.
