Title: Tilli products catalogue
Post by: 4hammers on January 31, 2003, 09:12:39 AM
Hi all.
This probably should have gone in the wanted section, but it really isn't a part, so I will leave it up to RET to decide.
I am looking for a copy (or photocopy) of an original Tilli products catalogue. I am collecting flash kits & have the Autolux one, but only have the FE FC Tilli pages. I need it for all makes & models. I am more than happy to pay for any costs involved. Time included.
I would also be more than happy to get a copy of my Autolux one as a trade.
Hope someone cah help.
Regards,
Rob

Rob, I have a photocopy of most of the Tilli catalogue - I didn't get the parts ordering pages for the models other than Holden, but still have 55 pages of info.
Cars covered are VW, Falcon, Holden, Zephyr, Consul, Anglia, Cortina, Hillman, Vauxhall, Mini, Morris, Valiant & Simca.

Costs me 20 cents a page at the local library if you are interested.

I have a copy of the Autolux catalogue as well.
Regards   Ken

Hi Ken.
I would be EXTREMELY grateful if I could get a copy of what you have.
Also, what is the date on your "Autolux" catalogue? I am not sure if there is more than one issue. Mine has everything from FE up to HK HT HG including Monaro.
Let me know where I can send the money for the "Tilli" copy.
Regards & THANKS,
Rob

G'day
Found this site with pictures of various tilley kits and nasco items. I know they are for the slightly later model but still of great interest.

Hi

I was wondering if you have a copy of the flashing kit catalogue for EJ's & EH's please. I know this is not an FE-FC but I have a mate of mine who has a FJ as well as an EJ, and is keen to see some of them in a catalogue.

Thanks

Sean ???

4hammers,

Would it be possible for me to get a look at any photos or copies of catalogues concerning flash kits? If possible, could you e-mail me some info and photos. Thanks.

Hi Ken
You answered a question I was talking to Harko about , "were Tilli's made for any other make" . My first car was an ...  :-X  ... XK Falcon , white , red roof , red stripe down the side .  Would this be a Tilli , or were there other brands ?
   Cheers
    Norm

ive seen some different ones on zephers ,hk t g holdens and also on a few fords but not sure if same brand ,but like camping seats there is usually more than one manufacturer,or even different uses for one type.

Hi.
The manufacturers were "Tilli Products" & "Autolux". They made kits for everything from Morris 1100's, Austin A40's, Falcons, Valiants, VW's, Holdens & whatever. They could probably custom make one for your car if you really wanted.

A company called 'Canopy' made some for EHs.  Did they make any for the earlier models?

Here is a link to brochure for sale on ebay at moment.

The Canopy brochure on ebay sold for $394.89!

Not bad for a one page foldout brochure.  I don't imagine the side stripe kits were that much when they first came out!
