Title: ebay Tips and Tricks
Post by: Glenn 'Stinky' Stankevicius on September 05, 2009, 02:23:12 PM
ebay links are now dead simple,

1. Copy the auction number from the ebay listing
(http://img268.imageshack.us/img268/7629/16660177.jpg)

2. Head back to your new post and click the (http://fefcholden.org.au/forum/Themes/default/images/bbc/ebay.gif) button.

3. Paste the auction number between the "ebay]" and "[/ebay".

4. Type in you comments, hit post and you are done!

Just a general reminder to people to check ebay feedback properly, old bad ratings drop off after a while so someone can effectively wipe there record and return to 100% after a while.

I keep hearing stories about bad experiences and have been done myself, buyer beware!

Thanks Stinky

Have bought a few items on Ebay but tend to drift to the Powersellers.

Not quite sure of the one off sellers.

Anyway fingers crossed from here on.

Cheers
Craig

Just a warning for ebay users...

I flog ebay a bit to generate side income hidden from my financial officer. An increasing epidemic in a fad called "TROLLING" or generally pissing people off is happening. Some bid for no other reason than just for this. Others bid on the same product from 5 different sellers and just take the best one at the end. I fix PS3 consoles and people often win and are uncontactable. This generates a bill from ebay as seller fees and is a bit@h to get back. So they are costing me as well.
My trick is to press payment received to get their real details then to uncheck it. You have their real name and address now. Up to you if you want to send anything "nice" to help them understand.

Sorry to get a little side tracked but these idiots that don't use ebay properly and just as a tool to p155 people off really gets me, well, p155ed off.
