Title: rear door alignment.
Post by: fccool59 on September 03, 2006, 02:47:18 AM
I just went to trial fit a rear door on the driver side, i am sure i have fitted it up before but it sits down at the back and high at the front with a 5-6mm gap between the alignment strip.
This might be a silly question but how do you adjust the angle the door sits?

There are 2 ways, either by shimming the hinge or bending the hinge.  Bending is best done by taking the hinge off and using some heat

Dam, ok, first I might try swapping a few hinges around.

With the front doors I have a few different hinges, some have little holes, some have big holes and some have a corner cut flat, some have 2 corners cut flat and some have all corners round, wich ones go where?
