Title: accelerator pedal

guys i just installed twin srommies on my fb i bought a accelerater pedal for a cable set up from american autos but it dont look right , i dont want to modify it and destroy and find out there is a better option ,eg a pedal off another car. thanks troy

        I am using a pedal and cable from a HJ Holden, I have also used one from an XD Falcon, they do fit very well.  I appologise for using those "F" words here, but it was for a good cause.

I have a hybrid LJ Torana/VN Commodore setup, not overly happy as there is a sticking point. I'd suggest trying to keep a standard type (whatever model) setup if you can.
Interesting to note that the plastic accel pedal is exactly the same for the Torrie and Commie.

No mods required, just find the right spot to mount it and of course drill the hoe for the cable etc.  Not too tricky at all, you should be right with it.
