Post by: Rabbitoh on June 21, 2006, 09:02:08 AM
Can anyone recommend a good restorer, familiar with these radios (in Melbourne).
Tah,
R.

Can't recommend them, (only because I'm in Sydney and never used them) but there's a mob called Antique Wireless in Melbourne that specialise in that sort of thing.  There details have been posted here before - do a search and I'm sure you'll find it.

cheers

Thanks for that RET,
They were on my list (but nothing beats first hand experience).

G'day Rabbitoh,  Used Antique Wireless a few years ago and was totally satisfied with job.  Old Airchief still going strong.   Were not cheap but that is to be expected for this gear.  Cheers,  Mike.
