Thanks Col I'll keep an eye on them.
I'm mainly chasing the bare stubs as a mate has come up with a conversion.
Blank p76 disks drilled to fe-hg pattern, trimmed back about 1/4 of an inch on lathe, taper on bearing snout machined flat as per hq-torana mated up with vn calipers.= vented disks on 13 inch wheels and narrows track by about an inch each side so the car can go low with 6 inch rims. I intend to post some photos when I get all of the parts together if anyones interested.
thanks again, Rob.

We have tried this on a Torana at work and there was only one difficulty.
P76 rotors start at 25.4 mm thick and have a minimum of 22.74 mm
VN rotors start at 22 mm with a minimum of 20 mm
Hence the VN calipers with new pads wont go over new P76 rotors.  You can take a bit off the pads but you also need to take a little bit of metal out of the caliper cradles for the caliper body to clear the rotor with a couple of mm's each side.
Or you can take a bit of metal off the rotors to bring them down in size a bit.  This shortens the life of the rotors though.

G' day Ken, a mate of mine has had some success doing this on a torana fairly recently. As you said it took a bit of tweaking of the calipers to make it all fit together. Once we get it sorted I'll post some pics in case others want to follow the same route. Rob.
