Title: Accelerator Pedal Assy
Post by: Glenn 'Stinky' Stankevicius on May 05, 2006, 11:34:17 AM
Is there any way to refurbish worn pedal mechanisms, or can you get repro or recos?

Hey Stinky there is a guy in Brisbane sells repro ones, he is in Greenslopes, will try to track down his number for you, he sells them on Ebay quite a lot, and runs a Holden Wrecking Yard on Logan Road

Thanks Matt, there's one on ebay at the moment, but that's in Vic ($50).
The wagon has had a dodgey cable conversion done and I want to take it back to original as part of the plan to get it on Historic (Club) Rego.

Still, I'd prefer to fix up one of the many I have myself, if anyone know of any tricks or methods?

Stinky,
You can call Logan Rd Wreckers on 07 33979211

He only deals in early holdens, but he does sell repro stuff also.

Complete new one from Rares is only $33.74+GST with club discount and they look pretty good. Probably not worth your time trying to refurb one...
