Title: The Half brother. Post by: Just40 on May 03, 2006, 07:56:21 PM Well the wagon is done and i have had a few weeks off but now it,s time to start again, this is the fe sedan i got for the wife but she does not want it anymore,so i said i would give it a good home. :D :D :D :D
(http://i8.photobucket.com/albums/a19/just40/fe%20holden/DCP_0725.jpg) (http://i8.photobucket.com/albums/a19/just40/fe%20holden/DCP_0730.jpg) now the colours just wont do,so i am going to paint this one the same as the wagon,i just love the blue and white. (http://i8.photobucket.com/albums/a19/just40/2006_01190012.jpg) so thats why i have called this one The Half Brother. anyway time to start, and for some strange reason i thought i would start at the front and work my way back :-/ :-/ :-/ (http://i8.photobucket.com/albums/a19/just40/fe%20holden/DCP_0749.jpg) (http://i8.photobucket.com/albums/a19/just40/fe%20holden/DCP_1251.jpg) (http://i8.photobucket.com/albums/a19/just40/fe%20holden/DCP_1352.jpg) so thats where i am up too. Title: Re: The Half brother. Post by: Glenn 'Stinky' Stankevicius on May 03, 2006, 08:11:46 PM Looks like you are going to shame us all again and make short work of this one too!
I like the blue combos too. Looking good, keep us updated. Title: Re: The Half brother. Post by: Just40 on May 04, 2006, 08:01:28 AM (http://i8.photobucket.com/albums/a19/just40/d2_1_b.jpg)
i picked up this kit for the fe aswell, the car will be blue all over with white in the kit. Title: Re: The Half brother. Post by: Just40 on May 14, 2006, 05:14:54 AM been a bit busy this week at work so time for the fe has been not what i wanted.
(http://i8.photobucket.com/albums/a19/just40/fe%20holden/rustrearq.jpg) the both rear quarters have got pepper rust in them so i started with the passenger side. (http://i8.photobucket.com/albums/a19/just40/fe%20holden/rustrearq1.jpg) i am pretty happy with my first effort. Title: Re: The Half brother. Post by: NES304 on May 14, 2006, 10:33:08 AM Hey Bloke,

The body looks nice and straight.

Title: Re: The Half brother. Post by: weddo on July 27, 2007, 05:41:16 PM Hi just40,
I also purchased a set of 7 x 13 dragways recently (and drove from Tassie to Tomorah in NSW to pick them up from a forum member), but when I first put tyres on mine and fitted them on the car I nearly tore the guards off, so I had to move the centres out about 10mm on the rims and machine about 5mm of the back of the centres. They only just rub at the moment so I will have to massage the guards a little bit. Like you I waited a long time to get them and I also think they look good. (http://i165.photobucket.com/albums/u65/weddo_album/DragwayMags.jpg) regards Weddo Title: Re: The Half brother. Post by: Just40 on July 27, 2007, 05:47:44 PM i have had no prob,s but i am running 215/50r13 with a 3.08 diff, what tyres are you running they look like 75r13.
Title: Re: The Half brother. Post by: weddo on July 31, 2007, 12:26:51 PM I am running Bridgestone Potenza G111 205 60 R13, but the 50 series look nice and compact in comparrison
